Bridal Nails Timeline: Booking Your Wedding Manicure in London, Ontario
When to book your trial, when to book your final, and how to coordinate the whole bridal party. A stress-free week-by-week timeline.
6–8 months out: lock in your date
If your wedding is on a Saturday in peak season (May–October), Saturday morning slots fill 3–4 months ahead. Reach out as soon as you have a venue confirmed — we'll hold both your trial and your final appointment together so the booking is one conversation.
6–8 weeks out: trial appointment
The trial is when we figure out exactly what your nails will look like on the day. Bring:
- Your dress or a swatch of the fabric
- A photo of your bouquet or wedding flowers
- 2–3 reference images of nails you love
We'll test up to two looks — usually a clean classic option and something with a little more personality — so you can choose without time pressure.
4 weeks out: bridal-party booking
If you're bringing your party in, this is when we lock the block. Groups of 4–10 get a coordinated block with multiple technicians side-by-side, so everyone finishes within the same 90-minute window.
1 week out: final shape check
We recommend a quick mid-week appointment about a week before the wedding to refine shape and length — gel or dip on natural nails, or a refill if you're wearing extensions.
2–3 days out: final appointment
The big one. We use gel or dip powder for chip-resistant wear that holds through the ceremony, reception, and honeymoon. Most brides choose gel for flexibility; dip works beautifully for brides with softer natural nails.
Day of: emergency kit
We send every bride home with a tiny clear top coat and a cuticle oil pen. If anything happens between the rehearsal and the ceremony, you'll have it.
